About Me

My photo
Dorothy Gast
Romulus in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, United States
The Grahams always love to get together, but weddings are important for carrying on the ties that strengthen families. When asked why her family was especially close, my grandmother said it was because the worked at keeping in touch, They celebrated birthdays, weddings, holidays and even funerals. Every family must have one or more that collects pictures and documents, organizes family events, carries on correspondence, and takes responsibilty for letting family members know what's happening. I inheritated Mama's boxes of albums, files, and old papers, so I guess that makes me one of the family historians. Since girls outnumber boys in the last few generations, the Grahams have other surnames, but remain connected in memories. I am also the annoying one who always has a camera, saying "Smile" when everyone else is trying to visit. Someday you'll love me anyway.
